When it comes to representing Chevrolet performance, few will disagree that a Tri-Five Shoebox hits the mark perfectly.  Whether it be a ’55, ’56 or ’57 model, these classic machines have been morphed into every type of custom, classic and restored version imaginable over the last 61 years.  Not only does this red and white ’56 Bel Air fit the bill, but it sounds more like an alcohol-burning funny car than a street machine.  With a totally built 454 big-block backed by a Tremec manual transmission, this ride has all the pedigree of a fast boulevard bruiser.  Throw in air conditioning, power everything and an air-assisted suspension, and the classic also becomes a daily driver.  However you look at this ride, one thing’s for certain, the sound coming from the pipes is music to any hot rodder’s ears.
